Dr Li-Chuen Wong is a consultant paediatric and adult dermatologist. She works at Sydney Skin, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Medical Centre in Newtown and is a Visiting Medical Officer at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Dr Wong is also a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney, Supervisor of Training at the Children’s Hospital in Westmead and Director of Training- Elect. She has an interest in vascular malformations and indigenous health.
Dr Wong ran a community based scabies eradication program in the Aboriginal community Wadeye, Northern Territory between 1999 and 2006. The community-based model of this program has now been adopted by the organisation, One Disease at a Time, who are now trying to implement similar programs in all Top End communities in Australia.
