Dr Clare Tait trained in London before working in New Zealand and then moving to Western Australia as a rural and remote General Practitioner (GP). Following her dermatology training, she worked at Royal Perth Hospital, where she has been for nearly 20 years, and co-founded a large group private practice.
Dr Tait has maintained her love of rural work and is the visiting dermatologist to the Kimberley region of Western Australia. She is currently on the Reconciliation Action Plan task force and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs Committee at the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Dr Tait is also a past Dean of Education and Board member and has served on many of the education committees over the last 15 years.
She has a long held interest in education and is committed to teaching medical students, junior doctors, specialist trainees and GPs.
